Biographical information

Samuel Chen is a political scientist, analyst, and strategist.

He is the founder and principal director of The Liddell Group, a strategy firm recognized for its innovative approach to campaigns, public policy, and communications, and previously served as an aide on both houses of Congress. He additionally hosts the television news journal Face the Issues and is a political contributor for Alhurra TV.

Outside of politics, Chen serves as Assistant Professor of Political Science at Northampton Community College, where he directs the political science program and is a member of the American Enterprise Institute, working with their Leadership Network and Conservative Education Reform Network (CERN).

Chen completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at Baylor University, where he holds degrees in philosophy, political science, and church-state-studies. A frequent speaker on college campuses and at various conferences, he is the author of two books: Thirteen Minutes: Winning, Losing, and Living as Taught by the 2016 Election and E Pluribus Unum: The Scope of Church and State in American Liberal Democracy.
